Does anyone know if it possible to project the SKY 3D footage that is coming out, and if so which projectors will do this? Are they active or passive??

Hi Jon,

There are projectors already available that claim to be 3D ready ( http://www.3dmovielist.com/pro…..ctors.html ), but they can't do 1080p, afaik, apart from LG's new projector…

… which uses a passive glasses system, like in the cinema.

I thought passive systems were limited to 1080i, but seeing as you're talking about a Sky 3D feed, not a Blu Ray 3D disk, and Sky 3D is broadcast in 1080i, I think you'd be able to use that projector to throw the image on a screen and use passive glasses to watch it.

The only snag, is getting that projector, which has no release date yet.
